My husband and I have just returned to the UK after a wonderful 5 nights staying in this great hotel. We loved the quiet location. and enjoyed the pleasant 15 minute walk to the centre of town and La Concha beach. There is plenty of independent shops including bakeries, coffee shops and bars along the way. We also walked along the river side which again leads you to the centre and Zurriola beach. The staff on reception were all very friendly and helpful. I had misplaced my spectacles. One of helpful ladies on reception rang a bar that we had been in to see if anyone had handed them in. For this I was very grateful. The staff who worked in the bar and those working at breakfast time were all amazing. Breakfast was very busy at times and the young lady was very efficient at bringing out more food We booked room only at a very good rate indeed. I had initially booked to stay at the Zenit San Martin, however the room rate was £1417 and even though I did book a room with a balcony I decided it just wasn't worth paying all that money just to be a couple of minutes from the beach. Therefore I cancelled and booked this hotel for a rate of £630. To me it was a no brainer. The rooms look to be the same in both hotels I certainly didn't regret my decision. We had breakfast 4 mornings out of 5. I have to say even though there's plenty good quality bakeries and coffee bars. The hotel offers much more and at 11 euros, it is great value. The breakfast is fantastic. We ate in the hotel bar one evening, again the food was very nice and we thought it value for money. We loved our spacious room which was very light and modern. There's enough hanging space in the wardrobe. The room was extremely clean. We were not expecting the room to be cleaned during our stay as we did not request this. However we would return each evening to find a cleaned room and a change of towels. There was even a bar of chocolate and a nice note one evening.

We booked the basic double room but when we arrived we thought the bed was small so requested a room change. There were no other double rooms available so we were offered a suite for 25 euro extra per night. The suite was beautiful, so spacious and comfortable. It even had a hot tub! Initially on arrival the motel seemed in an unusual place for a hotel as it’s situated right beside apartment blocks but the location was actually great . It’s a 20 minute walk into the city but as a result it’s quiet and there’s underground car parking for 18 euro per day. You can also get a bus or taxi if you don’t fancy walking. We had breakfast at the hotel one day which was lovely. It’s a big buffet with lots of choice. If you book the day before, it’s cheaper.

We had a one night stay and unfortunately my daughter left her passport behind .we then travelled 6 hours before we realised. When we returned another 6 hours later, having missed our ferry home, we were informed it was found in the room 15 minutes after we left .although it clearly wasn’t the staffs fault it was left , they had all our contact details and could have saved us £500 and a lot of inconvenience . Very poor !!!!

The location is in the Amara area. It takes about 30 minutes walk to the city center along the Urumea River. The rooms are modern arranged, the cleanliness, important, is adequate. Breakfast standard, I liked that they have fresh orange juice. The garage is on the 3rd underground level, at the beginning you have to think about how to get to it despite the instructions at the reception.

Really clean, modern rooms. Loads of space. Not too far from the center, it was a lovely 15 minute walk. The staff were all extremely helpful and lovely to deal with. Their taxi service was also top notch, we never waited more than 5 mins for a taxi.
